I discovered there's a shelf in my room that's the perfect height for taking pictures of myself. Which means more vanity on this blog! Let's celebrate with an OOTD picture. Actually, the pictures are rather crap and I'm not sure why. Hopefully better fuzz-less photography soon.

So this is what I wore on my first day as a Dutch teacher. I knew I might have to teach Dutch lessons, but apparently in the last ten years no one had been interested in it so I figured there was a good chance I wouldn't have to do it in the end. But there were five people. Who actually paid money too be taught by an unskilled and pretty clueless idiot. So the least I could do was wear a really good outfit. I got this velvet top only a few weeks ago when I was ordering a sequin dress from New Look and needed to add something cheap to get free delivery (because hey I'd rather spend those few extra pounds on more clothes than boring shipping costs) and I found this nice little number. It's actually a bodystocking which works really well under skirts. The skirt has a swan print that's not exactly noticable in the picture. Here's a close-up of the absolute GLORIOUS shoes that make me feel like the lovechild of Noel Fielding and Ziggy Stardust.
