Eels can hear

with tiny eel ears

invisible to the human eye

they listen to EELO

Fish fingers are made of the fingers of eels

the eel fingers with which they hold their lover’s hand

and rock their infant eels to sleep

If the eels could hear you now

they’d be embarrassed to know you
